MIDDLESEX COUNTY COLLEGE - WEST HALL

OCA’s Principal’s prior project experience includes work on Middlesex County College (MCC), West Hall. West Hall is one of the newest buildings at MCC, Edison, New Jersey. The two-story, 36,000 GSF building was envisioned as a “One Stop Center” to address student services at the College. Currently, Student Services Departments such as Advising, Admissions, Student Accounts, Registrar, Scholarships, Financial Aid and First-Year Experience is dispersed over several buildings on campus. The developed Program went further than simply combining multiple departments into a single building. It provided the College the opportunity to streamline processes, eliminating redundancies, updating protocols and promoting self-serve. MCC’s streamlined approach to student services led to cross-training of staff at all levels reducing the need for students to be passed off from one staff to another.

The project was designed as a USGBC LEED Gold building.

OCA Principal was the Principal-In-Charge.
